Want to take a summer road trip to catch a killer?
That’s what two estranged friends do in my debut YA thriller The Killer in Me, which Disney Hyperion will release on July 12. They’ve done a killer job making my book everything it can be. Now I want to give readers a reason to pre-order Killer: a giveaway of exclusive road-trip swag!
I’m so in love with the book’s cover (designed by the amazing Maria Elias) that I used it on two different sets of swag, one with the standard book description and one with a “murder road trip” theme and a touch of dark humor, both beautifully designed by Kristin Rae. Here’s how to get both, if you live in the U.S. or Canada:
- Pre-order the book or e-book from any retailer, such as Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Indiebound, Books-A-Million, or Indigo. If you order from Phoenix Books Burlington, you’ll get a signed copy of the book (and help support my awesome local booksellers!).
- Before July 12, 2016, email proof of your purchase to margotharrisonwrites at gmail dot com. Please include your name and address and block out any confidential information.
- I will send you: 1 regular bookmark, 1 regular postcard, 1 “road trip” bookmark, 1 “road trip” postcard, and one piece of jewelry featuring a teeny-tiny shovel charm (pendant or earrings; feel free to specify your choice). Now you should be set up for your road trip! (Junk food for long desert drives and weapons for self-defense are NOT included, sorry.)
