I haven’t blogged any news for, like, ever. Why? Well, these days I put it all on TikTok! I really, really resisted making an account there, and then I did and I realized I love making videos. Besides talking about my own books and writing, I do reviews of vintage YA from the 1970s and silly skits about my weird childhood. Find me here!

The Glare is now out in paperback with a wonderfully creepy cover by artist Peter Strain, who also did the cover of my upcoming release, We Made It All Up. Find it wherever books are sold!

We Made It All Up is coming on July 12, and it has some great advance buzz! BuzzFeed included it on a list of summer thriller recs, Literary Hub put it on a list of YA reads for the summer, and Bookish has it on a list of 25 Summer Releases to Have on Your Radar!

Trade reviews have been good so far, too. Publishers Weekly says that “Harrison thoughtfully explores themes of self-harm, psychological manipulation, and sexual violence using atmospheric writing, convincing dialogue, and a clever narrative structure in this eerie tale.” Kirkus Reviews calls it “A polished tale that is twisted and disturbing.”
